Composed of more than 98% pure graphite, they provide inherent corrosion resistance. Thanks to the expanded graphite properties, they can endure severe temperature and pressure fluctuations, making them the ultimate packing solution for valves and various static seals. They can be used solo or combined with JJ-771 high carbon fiber packing end rings to prevent packing extrusion, though should not be used with severely damaged valve stems.
