Hot Top Aluminum Casting Machine
This equipment is widely used by manufacturers of aluminum alloy ingots and zinc alloy ingots. It has the characteristics of automatic distribution of aluminum water, adjustable casting speed, automatic ingot molding and demolding, high production efficiency, the uniform weight of aluminum ingots, no size, smooth surface, etc.The equipment also includes water circulation systems, tipping systems, steam extraction systems, wellhead lighting systems, hydraulic stations, electronic control systems, etc. Alloy casting machines will also have wire feeders, lubrication stations, etc.
Φ830mm Large Diameter Billet Casting System
Large Diameter Billet Casting System consists of Billet Casting Mold assemblies, a mold table, starting head base, starting heads, wipe system, documentation and commissioning services.The system includes the following features.
The billet mold includes a Casting Ring, self-centering refractory transition plate and graphite ring within the mold body. The mold has internal water baffling for uniform cooling water distribution and a removable spray ring. Mounted to the bottom of the removable spray ring are pneumatic cylinders used to align the starting heads to the molds prior to engagement into the molds.
Wiper
The wiper used with the billet mold is an inflatable design that allows the starting head to pass through before the wiper is engaged. The wiper is hung on the wiper block that allow its position to be adjusted in relation to the mold. The wiper is inflated with air supplied from the table. All connections from the wiper to the mold or table are designed so that the connections will disconnect from the mold or table and cause no disturbance to other casting positions in the event that a defect in the billet should interfere with the passage of the billet through the wiper.

BILLET CASTING TABLE
The Shanghai Qianlei mold table is a precision-machined piece of equipment. It is designed and built for high quality, structural rigidity, and long-term durability.The mold table is a steel fabrication which contains the precast ceramic trough sections on the top side and the individual molds on the underside. Each casting position has a refractory which directs the molten aluminum from the trough to the mold. The molds fit into a precision machined opening in the bottom of the mold table.
The mold table also includes the following components and systems.
Metal Distribution System
The Metal Distribution System incorporates a central supply trough, individual dams positioned at the entry to each mold position and individual annular refractory metal distributors. Once the desired metal level is reached in the distribution system's central trough, the dams of the system are manually withdrawn. Metal then flows simultaneously
into the annular refractory channels of each mold position to be evenly distributed around the perimeter of each mold. As a result, thermal gradients are minimized across the mold table and within the molds.
Water Distribution System
The mold table incorporates stainless steel water headers designed to evenly distribute cooling water to the molds. The system has a removable bottom plate and clean out covers for access to internal surfaces.
Oil Distribution System
The oil distribution system is attached to the bottom plate of the mold table. High pressure stainless steel pipe supplies oil to each mold position. Incorporated within each mold is a series of oil injectors that provide a precisely measured amount of oil for each mold. The molds can be easily removed without disconnecting the oil line. (A filter downstream of the entry connection protects the oil system from dirt particles.)
Starting Head Base
Starting Head Bases are welded steel fabrications custom designed to fit each platen. The steel structure is precision machined on both the top and bottom surfaces to ensure parallel alignment between the starting heads and the molds.
Starting Heads
The billet molds use starting heads machined from steel. The starting heads have drains incorporated in the design to remove water. The starting heads are designed for alignment. The starting heads have locking pins or bolts to keep them in place.
